Allianz Public Company

Founded in 1890, Allianz Group is a global leader and employer in insurance and financial services in more than 70 countries worldwide. Its core businesses are insurance and asset management. Most of the company's insurance markets are served by local Allianz companies while selected business lines are run globally such as Global Corporate Customers, Credit Insurance, Assistance Services, Worldwide Care, Global Automotive and Reinsurance. Allianz's asset management division, which consists of PIMCO and Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI), has €1,960 billion of assets under management (AuM), of which €1,448 billion are third-party assets (at the end of 2017). Particular strongholds include the United States, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom and the Asia-Pacific region.
