Fitbit is best known as the maker of activity trackers, which are wireless-enabled wearable technology devices that measure data such as the number of steps walked, heart rate, quality of sleep, steps climbed, and other personal metrics involved in fitness. The first product released was the Fitbit Tracker, and today the company sells an array of products, including wrist-worn activity trackers and smartwatches, connected scales and wireless headphones. Also, the companion Fitbit app provides users with an easy-to-grasp data in the form of charts, as well as motivating and entertaining content. Fitbit also offers a premium service with tailored exercises.
