The Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) expands research and commercialization capacity in Georgia's universities to launch new companies, create high-value jobs and transform lives. By driving the state's strategy to develop a technology-rich economy, GRA plays a distinct role in Georgia's overall economic development. GRA is a nonprofit (501c3), public-private partnership that partners with both the University System of Georgia and Georgia's Department of Economic Development. Its partner universities include: The University of Georgia, Augusta University, Emory University, Clark Atlanta University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia State University, Mercer University, and Morehouse School of Medicine. GRA Venture Fund, LLC is a separate enterprise that provides more investment and guidance for the most promising startups. This unique public-private investment fund is one of the largest venture capital funds in Georgia.
