GreatCall develops connected health products and services for active aging, helping seniors live more independent lives. The company's products include the easy-to-use smartphone Jitterbug Smart; Jitterbug Flip, the flip phone with a 5Star urgent response button; Lively Mobile, the mobile medical alert device with optional Fall Detection; and Lively Wearable, the urgent response device that works with a smartphone. GreatCall also offers a suite of Health & Safety and Family Caregiving Services — including the 5Star Urgent Response, Urgent Care, GreatCall Link (for staying connected with family and friends), MedCoach (medication and refill reminder service), Daily Health Tips, Check-in Call, Fall Detection, and Fitness Tracker. In June 2017, the company was acquired by private equity firm GTCR, and in August 2018 - Best Buy bought it for $800M.
