Interaxon has developed Muse, the brain sensing, smartphone-connected EEG headband designed to elevate the meditation experience. The device gently guides users' meditation through changing sounds of weather based on the real-time state of the brain. This allows for obtaining of a deeper sense of focus while motivating users to build a highly rewarding practice. At the end of every session, users get results and graphs to measure their progress. In addition to end users, Muse is used by third party developers, health practitioners, athletes and over 100 universities and hospitals and universities around the world including Harvard, NASA, University of Toronto and Mayo Clinic.
