Jibo

Founded in 2012, Jibo, Inc. has created what it says is the first social robot for the home. Called Jibo, the small tabletop robot is built to interact and communicate with the people around him, using advanced Natural Language Understanding (NLU) along with speech and facial recognition to forge relationships with his family. Jibo boasts a three-axis motor system that allows him to spin in 360 degrees so he can turn to face any direction, and move freely to express himself. He also has two cameras to see the world around him, a 360-degree microphone array, and a 5-inch 1280x720 pixel touchscreen.
