Created by co-founders of the DNA sequencing leader Illumina, Luna is a community owned database that offers rewards to people in the form of LunaCoins for sharing DNA and medical information they already own, while contributing to medical research and discovery that saves lives. The platform enables users who shared that information to get a piece of the profits from medical research and discoveries. The proceeds flow back to the community like dividends as researchers pay to access the data for discovery.
