Oculus is an American technology company founded by Palmer Luckey, Brendan Iribe, Michael Antonov, Nate Mitchell in July 2012. It specializes in virtual reality hardware and software products, and was acquired by Facebook in March 2014 for $2.3B. The company's products include: Oculus Rift, Oculus Go and Oculus Quest series of VR headsets. In addition to its own devices, Oculus is also working with other companies; for instance, it worked with Samsung to develop the Samsung Gear VR that was made to work with Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
