Two Pore Guys

Two Pore Guys (2PG) has developed a hand-held, single molecule biosensor — called Molecular Meter (MoM) — that detects and quantitates both DNA/RNA and analyte targets in a rapid, inexpensive form factor. The device is precise enough for high-end diagnostic uses, yet affordable enough to be used as a blood glucometer. MoM can be used for diagnostics of humans and animals, and is able to detect viruses, bacteria, antibodies, protein biomarkers, cancers and infectious diseases. Also, it could be used for drug development, clinical trials, molecular screening, quality controls, and as a companion and complementary diagnostics tool.
