Vuzix Blade AR smart glasses provide a wearable smart display with a see-through viewing experience[/caption] During CES 2019, Vuzix unveiled its AR smart glasses that have been in development for years. Called Vuzix Blade, they feature a miniature display in the right lens of a pair of bulky sunglasses using what's known as waveguide technology. The company refers to this technology as the "Cobra Display Engine." The Blade works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, and is being offered for $999.99.
In April 2019, Vuzix announced a strategic partnership with VSee Lab, a San Jose-based video telehealth company, to introduce a telehealth and telemedicine smart glasses solution for Vuzix' M300XL and Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses. Funding 💰
