The company's service can send alerts to families and caregivers if something goes wrong, such as a fall or an illness. By tracking fitness, it encourages walker use and reduces the chance of falling in the first place. In addition to families, WalkWise is also being adopted by senior living providers which use it to help the elderly maintain independence.
