Zebra Medical Vision uses artificial intelligence and deep learning to provide automated, accurate and timely medical image diagnosis. The company's Imaging Analytics Platform allows healthcare institutions to identify patients at risk of disease, and offer improved, preventative treatment pathways to improve patient care. Zebra's tools are made to fulfill the increasing demand for medical imaging services which is outpacing the supply of qualified radiologists and stretching them to produce more output. To that end, the company has developed the AI1 offering is available for $1 per scan. Zebra's other offering, Radiology Assistant, uses a proprietary database of millions of imaging scans, along with machine and deep learning tools, to create software that analyzes data in real time with human-level accuracy — providing radiologists the assistance they need to manage ever-growing workloads, without sacrificing quality. In July 2017, Zebra received the first-ever AI CPT code for radiology, for its VCF detection from CT scans for Population Health, setting a new standard for CPT codes in imaging AI, as the company has successfully done with FDA clearances for its algorithms. Over the next few years, the company expects to release dozens of automated findings and insights to help radiologists provide more comprehensive, accurate outcomes — faster, without compromising the quality of care.
