AssistMe
AssistMe is the company behind AidMate, a connected care system for the elderly together with their smart incontinence pants. The system provides a caregiver with the information, enabling timely pants changing, which restores dignity and helps avoid infections. It consists of the AidMate sensor that detects liquid and stool events; AidMate clip that transmits the sensed data to the cloud server; the cloud system that uses machine learning to turn transmitted data into insightful and actionable information; and web and mobile apps for system management. This combination can be used to detect emergencies, abnormal patterns, and medical problems while predicting issues and harmful behavior. Thus AidMate helps caregivers manage workloads with efficiency and ease while providing a healthier lifestyle for care recipients.

Highlights ⭐
- Solves a real problem: A high percentage of nursing home residents suffer from incontinence. This is a major challenge for everyone involved. The smart sensors for incontinence products in combination with the AssistMe app make things easier for residents, the care staff and for care home management.
- Digitizing nursing homes: Simply put, AssistMe is working on digitization for nursing homes, making the work of caregivers easier, increase efficiency and at the same time increase the quality of care. This is important as the Cologne Economic Institute (IW) predicts that there will be a shortage of around 288,000 nursing staff by 2031. 🔗
- First ERP system for nursing: AssistMe is working with the software house CSB-System to offer customers the first true ERP system for care, which can be linked to all digital care applications and uses artificial intelligence to make workforce planning, procurement and logistics more efficient. 🔗
