Doctomatic has developed an AI-enabled remote patient monitoring service for doctors, allowing them to monitor patients' health data daily and assist them in predicting the deterioration of their conditions. The device and condition agnostic tool also make chronic patients' lives easier. Doctomatic's technology ensures conditions are detected prior to them worsening and reduces both chronic conditions and associated comorbidities. Further, the data the system collects will allow the company to add even more value to its care structures by offering improved diagnosis, treatment and management of these conditions.
Select partners: Fundació Salut Empordà, Hospital del Mar, Escuelas Universitarias Gimbernat.

Highlights

  • Big addressable market: There are billions of chronic patients globally.
  • Solid business model: It's a subscription-based service which the patient pays for access. Half of the money goes to the doctor and the other half to Doctomatic. There's a clear incentive for doctors to promote Doctomatic to patients.
  • Experienced founder: Frederic Llordachs has previously co-founded Doctoralia, which is the leading digital platform to connect doctors and patients in Spain and Latin America. Later on, Doctoralia merged with DocPlanner to create the largest online healthcare platform in the world. In addition to being an entrepreneur, Frederic is also an advisor at the Mobile Health Competence Centre in Barcelona (Mobile World Capital Foundation), eHealth director at Aces, member of the eHealth section of the Official College of Doctors of Barcelona (Comb) and since 2012 he has been in charge of Health 2.0 in its Spanish editions.
