The European Congress of Radiology (ECR) is one of the largest medical meetings in Europe and the second-largest radiological meeting in the world. ECR attendees span all areas of the radiology arena, including radiology professionals, radiographers, physicists, industry representatives, and press reporters for both the medical and consumer press. The event will take place onsite & online in Vienna. At ECR 2023, the chosen theme is "The Cycle of Life," intended to reflect the centrality of radiology to healthcare throughout life.

Highlights ⭐

  • Exhibition: During ECR 2022, the exhibition space occupied 22,000 m2 of which 2,000 m2 was dedicated to AI-related innovations. Also included were interactive exhibits, a theatre, and trainings.
  • Sessions galore: The ECR 2023 will include a variety of Advanced Courses, The Beauty of Basic Knowledge sessions, New Horizons sessions, Refresher Courses, ECR Master Classes, Image Interpretation Quizzes, Roundtable sessions, State of-the-Art Symposia, Multidisciplinary and Professional Challenges sessions, and ESRMeets sessions.
  • Trainees in focus: At ECR 2023, the next generation of medical imaging professionals will take centre stage. Trainees in Focus will offer professional and personal insights into topics and issues that affect young radiologists and radiographers in their educational and working environments.
  • Open Forum sessions: These will focus on one of three themes: Trainees, Radiography, and ESR programmes and activities.
  • Major corporate sponsors: Bayer, Bracco, Canon, Esaote, Fujifilm, GE Healthcare, Philips, Siemens Healthineers, and United Imaging.
