Formerly known as Psious, Amelia Virtual Care has developed a platform that has a suite of applications with hyper-realistic virtual environments to provide treatment for multiple phobias such as fear of flying, acrophobia, claustrophobia, agoraphobia, among others; as well as relaxation and Mindfulness environments. It allows doctors to use VR in order to simulate different controlled environments for the patients while providing a range of features like session logs and pre-configured protocols for the treatment of different phobias and disorders. In that sense, Amelia is democratizing the use of VR exposure, making this proven therapy accessible and affordable to exponentially more clinicians, patients, and self-help consumers.
