REV is a global venture capital partnership backed by RELX Group. It is on a mission to help build companies that can transform their markets through the application of data, technology and analytics. Specifically, the firm invests in big data, digital health, Internet and enterprise technology companies. It has been an early investor in disruptive category leaders like Palantir, Healthline, Babbel and Netli. Typically, REV invests $1-$10M at an early/mid-stage, leads rounds, and takes active board seats. However, it will also invest at a much later stage and take follower/observer positions for the right opportunity.
